Why We Publish a Changelog

At HeyTC, a lot of our value lives in algorithms and tools you don’t see directly: daily QB rankings, fantasy scoring logic, Super Bowl Simulator probabilities, and in-development projects like trade tools.

This public Changelog exists to show what we changed, when we changed it, and roughly how it affects what you see on the site, without exposing any proprietary code.

January 2026

HeyTC Super Bowl Simulator v2.1.48 · January 3

• Optimized the mobile experience with smarter card ordering, a streamlined copy button, and expanded team visibility in key sections.

Result: Mobile users get the team selector upfront and see more data at a glance.

QB Rankings Engine v1.5.3 · January 3

• Added defensive checks throughout the plugin including file existence validation, database query error handling, and null-safe URL parsing.

Result: More graceful error handling and better logging when something goes wrong.

HeyTC SEO v1.4.0 · January 2

• Reorganized the plugin into smaller modules and improved how search engines discover and crawl content.

Result: Cleaner code under the hood and stronger SEO performance out of the box.

HeyTC Super Bowl Simulator v2.1.28 · January 1

• Added randomized fan-voice commentary for all 32 teams with seven emotional tiers based on how long until your team wins, from “this year” all the way to “cursed.” Every simulation run now generates unique story text.
• Completed a full code review with security hardening and removed ~4,000 lines of deprecated code.

Result: A leaner simulator with richer storytelling that speaks differently to fans whether their team wins this year or 50+ years from now.

• Complete visual redesign with a dark, bento-style dashboard featuring a hero card, dynasty tracker, “graveyard of broken dreams,” championship timeline, and live odds ticker.
• Added team-colored accents, a full-color champion card for the winner, and one-click image export so you can save and share your results.
• Introduced a future rank algorithm that weighs wait time, total wins, and current odds. Also fixed commentary for teams that have never won.

Result: A premium simulator that turns 100-year projections into a visual story with emotional commentary tailored to each team’s history and drought.

HeyTC Super Bowl Simulator v1.5.3 · December 19

• Added share buttons, mobile-friendly sharing, and 1,280 fan-voice variations so results sound like real fans talking.

Result: A much more shareable simulator that turns runs into social posts.

QB Rankings Engine v1.5.0 · December 8

• Added automatic daily refreshes, one-click manual refresh, and a redesigned admin interface.

Result: Rankings tables stay fresh with less manual effort.

HeyTC Super Bowl Simulator v1.4.3 · December 6

• Modernized for WordPress 6.9 and refreshed the admin UI with cleaner typography.

Result: A more stable, future-proof simulator.

NFL Division Widget v4.86.3 · December 5

• WordPress 6.9 and PHP 8.4 compatibility, added a Super Bowl Simulator promo button.
