Our Founder

HeyTC was founded by Malcolm Michaels, known as “TC” for over 25 years, a nod to his roots in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul. A veteran sports media leader, Malcolm founded Sportsnaut.com in 2014 and served as its Editor-in-Chief until fall 2022. At Sportsnaut, he grew on-site traffic to over two million and drove 100 million monthly views on MSN by identifying strategic content opportunities. Leading a team of five editors, over 20 writers, SEO specialists, video editors, and social media creators, Malcolm mentored talent, developing writers into full-time editors and launching careers for contributors who moved on to prominent roles in sports media.

A muse for sports writers, Malcolm brings his passion for storytelling and talent development to HeyTC, aiming to build a new generation of quarterback-focused journalists and editors.
